In reading these articles, it really opened up my eyes on how relevant technology is to our students of the future. School 2.0 means that we as educators must bring our students up to par with the latest technological advances such as pod casting, video conferencing, and other neat gadgets that will one day replace the world as we know it. Many people already read the newspaper, look up words (dictionary), take classes on the computer.
We as educators must change our way of thinking when it comes to technology. numerous teachers are afraid to use technology,but that fear is gong to have to jump out the window because it is taking over and the students only deserve the best.
Technology is revamping the culture of the world and education is no exception to the rule. It can provide vital information to the students. We as the educators must ensure that the information is relevant to the standards that we teach. This technology is a helpful tool and we must use it accordingly.
